Max Verstappen: Why Red Bull F1 driver is racing in Nurburgring 24 Hours this weekend as he continues exploits outside of Formula 1

Four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen will compete in his first real-life 24-hour endurance race at the Nurburgring 24 Hours, driving a Red Bull-branded Mercedes-AMG GT3 car. Verstappen made six outings at the Nordschleife over the past 12 months to prepare for the event, which begins at 2pm on Saturday. The race will be available to watch for free on the Sky Sports app, with coverage starting at 1:30pm.
