Mayweather: Exhibition bout before Garcia fight

Floyd Mayweather, 49, has announced he will return to the ring for an exhibition bout against Australian Matty Floyd in Bangkok, Thailand on December 19, with no broadcaster yet confirmed. Mayweather also teased a full competitive return against WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia in 2027, a title Mayweather himself first held in 2006. Garcia, who won the WBC 147-pound title in February by beating Mario Barrios and defended it in September with a round-two stoppage of Conor Benn, has said talks with Mayweather are ongoing.
