McDavid's torrid start to season for Oilers 'just not real,' Draisaitl says

Connor McDavid recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in Edmonton's 6-5 shootout win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday, bringing his total to 31 points in just 10 games to start the season. He is on pace for a 260-point season, which would shatter Wayne Gretzky's all-time record of 215 points set in 1985-86. McDavid became only the fourth player in NHL history to reach 30 points in 10 games or fewer, joining Mario Lemieux, Mike Bossy, and Gretzky, prompting teammate Leon Draisaitl to call the performance 'just not real.'
