At UFC 329, Conor McGregor suffered a leg injury on the opening kick of his fight against Max Holloway, forcing the bout to be stopped in the opening minute. Holloway was declared the winner as a result of the injury stoppage. The fight marked McGregor's return to the octagon, but ended abruptly due to the injury sustained on his first kick attempt.
