McGregor says he's the UFC's featherweight GOAT
Conor McGregor (22-6) will return to the UFC Octagon at UFC 329 on Saturday to face Max Holloway (27-9) in a welterweight non-title headliner, his first fight since July 2021. McGregor is claiming the mantle of greatest featherweight of all time, pointing to his 13-second championship knockout of José Aldo in 2015 as the defining moment of his featherweight legacy. Despite the bout taking place at welterweight, McGregor argues a win over Holloway — who defended the UFC featherweight title four times and defeated Aldo twice in 2017 — would further cement his status as the all-time featherweight great.
