McIlroy begins US PGA with opening bogey

Rory McIlroy began his US PGA Championship campaign with an opening bogey at Aronimink, after a wayward drive and a missed 14-foot par putt. The Northern Irishman, who won his second consecutive Masters title last month, is bidding to become the fifth player since 1960 to win the first two majors of the year. A victory this week would also complete a career grand slam for McIlroy and move him past Sir Nick Faldo's record of six major titles.
