Men's college soccer 2-semester model rejected by DI schools

Division I schools have voted to reject a proposed 2-semester model for men's college soccer, according to ESPN. The model would have restructured the men's college soccer schedule to span two semesters rather than the traditional fall season format. No specific vote count or implementation timeline was detailed in the available excerpt, but the rejection means the current seasonal structure will remain in place.
