Mercedes calls for F1 simplification after "fiendishly complex" cars cause Malaysia chaos

Mercedes deputy team principal Bradley Lord has called for greater simplicity in future Formula 1 regulations following software problems that caused chaos at the Malaysian Grand Prix. The race, already delayed by rain, was pushed back further when several cars experienced issues linked to the complexity of modern F1 machinery. Lord argued the incidents demonstrated why F1 should pursue simpler technical regulations going forward.
