Mercedes investigating George Russel's British GP top speed issue

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has confirmed the team is investigating a top speed issue that affected George Russell during the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Russell qualified nearly four tenths slower than teammate Kimi Antonelli, with Antonelli averaging around 6km/h faster on the Hangar Straight during qualifying, though the gap narrowed to 3-4km/h during the race. Wolff stated there was no apparent difference at the power unit level, meaning a deeper technical investigation is required to identify the cause.
