Mets come back to beat Yankees 7-6, take dramatic rubber game of Subway Series
The New York Mets defeated the Yankees 7-6 in the rubber game of the Subway Series, completing a dramatic comeback from three runs down with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning. Tyrone Taylor hit a three-run home run off Yankees closer David Bednar to force extra innings, and Carson Benge delivered the walk-off run in the 10th inning on a fielder's choice after Yankees infielders Jazz Chisholm and Anthony Volpe collided. The win improved the Mets to 20-26 on the season, giving them four series wins in their last five and 10 victories in their last 15 games.
