Lando Norris, the reigning world champion, claimed his first victory of the 2026 season by winning the Miami Grand Prix Sprint race, leading McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri in a one-two finish. Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, who leads the drivers' championship, finished fourth on the road but was penalised five seconds for repeat track limits infringements across the 19-lap race, dropping him to sixth place. George Russell was promoted to fourth as a result of Antonelli's penalty.
