Miami Heat agree to trade for two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo
The Milwaukee Bucks agreed on June 23, 2026, to trade two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and forward Bobby Portis to the Miami Heat in a six-player deal also involving six draft picks. The Heat will send Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Kasparas Jakucionis, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. to Milwaukee, along with two unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033, the No. 13 overall pick in 2026, and a 2030 pick swap. Antetokounmpo had spent his first nine NBA seasons with the Bucks before this blockbuster trade.
