Miami’s Lionel Messi leads 2026 MLS All-Star squad

Lionel Messi headlines the 2026 MLS All-Star First XI, selected through a combined vote of fans, players, and media, marking his third MLS All-Star appearance. The squad, which includes three Nashville SC players and two Chicago Fire players, will face Liga MX's top stars on July 29 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Other notable selections include forwards Hugo Cuypers and Son Heung-Min, with the full 26-man roster to be completed by host coach Dean Smith and MLS Commissioner Don Garber.
