Michael Carrick insists he was NOT waving an emotional farewell to fans after Man United's humiliating 3-0 thrashing by Bournemouth - but admits he is unsure about his future

Manchester United suffered a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth, extending their winless run to eight games across all competitions. The loss followed a 4-1 Champions League defeat at Como earlier in the week. Former United player Michael Carrick, present at the match, denied that his emotional gestures toward fans signalled a farewell, though he acknowledged uncertainty about his own future.
