Mickey Arthur drafted into new coaches panel to mend England’s ties with county cricket

Mickey Arthur, former head coach of South Africa and Pakistan, has been appointed to England's new County Insight Group, one of four new appointments aimed at improving relations between the national team and county cricket. The move follows an internal review of last winter's Ashes defeat, which recommended better dialogue with the domestic game, particularly around player selection. Director of cricket Rob Key and head coach Brendon McCullum both retained their positions following the review.
