Mikel Arteta fumes at Premier League over 'terrible' fixture schedule after Arsenal win

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta criticised the Premier League's fixture scheduling as 'terrible' after his side faced Everton with less than three full days of recovery time following a Champions League away match against Bayern Munich. The compressed schedule was compounded by Arsenal also having played away from home the previous Sunday, leaving players with minimal rest between three consecutive demanding fixtures. Arteta's comments came after Arsenal secured a win against Everton despite the challenging turnaround.
