Misiorowski's first inning against Yankees sets velocity records

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski set multiple velocity records during his first inning against the New York Yankees on May 8, 2026. He threw all 10 pitches in excess of 102 mph, including a 103.6 mph pitch to Aaron Judge that set the record for the fastest pitch thrown in the pitch-tracking era (since 2008). Misiorowski recorded a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts and threw the five fastest pitches ever tracked for a starting pitcher.
