MLB unanimously approves sale of San Diego Padres

MLB team owners have unanimously approved the $3.9 billion sale of the San Diego Padres to an investor group led by private equity billionaire José E. Feliciano and his wife and business partner, Kwanza Jones. The sale represents one of the largest transactions in professional sports history. The approval was obtained from all 30 MLB team owners.
