MLS clubs lead the way on Leagues Cup Matchday 3

New York City FC defeated Club Santos Laguna 2-0, with goals from Tayvon Gray (50') and Nico Cavallo (66'), while Cruz Azul beat Philadelphia Union 1-0 thanks to José Paradela's third-minute strike. Chicago Fire FC also won 2-0 against Club Necaxa, with Jonathan Dean opening the scoring in the 31st minute.
