'More than ready': Kumar Sangakkara backs Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for India call-up after dream IPL

Former Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara has backed 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for an India international call-up following an outstanding IPL season with Rajasthan Royals. The teenage opener scored 776 runs in 16 innings at a strike rate of 237.30, including one century and five fifties. Sooryavanshi narrowly missed back-to-back centuries in the playoffs, scoring 97 and 96 in consecutive innings.
