Morrell suffers shock KO to Chelli in Manchester

David Morrell (12-2, 9 KOs) suffered a major upset defeat to Zak Chelli (17-3-1, 9 KOs) at the Co-Op Live in Manchester on Saturday, losing by knockout in Round 10. Morrell had entered the fight as a heavy favourite, having taken the bout at late notice after a scheduled fight with Callum Smith was cancelled due to injury. Chelli controlled the fight with his jab, rocked Morrell with a big right hand late in Round 9, and finished him in the following round.
