Morris stuns Humphries to pull off rare darts feat

Tommy Morris became just the sixth non-tour card holder to win a PDC ranking event, claiming the Players Championship 34 title in Leicester on Thursday. The 34-year-old challenge tour top-up player defeated former world champions Rob Cross and Luke Humphries on his way to the title, sealing victory with a 161 checkout. As a result of his win, Morris has earned spots at the Grand Slam of Darts in late November and the World Championship at Alexandra Palace.
