Moses Itauma could be one victory away from a second world title shot after a 'risky' comeback fight in January

Moses Itauma, a 21-year-old heavyweight prospect, is set to return to the ring in a 'risky' comeback fight in January, according to his promoter Frank Warren. Itauma previously challenged Filip Hrgovic for the IBF heavyweight championship in August but was stopped in nine rounds after fading late in the bout. If Itauma wins the January fight, he could be positioned for a rematch with Hrgovic, who is expected to make his first IBF title defence in Croatia in early 2027.
