'Most exciting player' Eala shows 'Filipino heart' to make history

Alexandra Eala made history by becoming the first Filipina to win a WTA title, defeating world number three Jessica Pegula in the Washington Open final. Her path to the title included victories over Elina Svitolina and Naomi Osaka, as well as overcoming weather delays and losing the first set in the final.
