Mudryk could make Chelsea return after 20mths out

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk could play his first competitive match in 20 months on Wednesday, according to manager Xabi Alonso. The 25-year-old Ukrainian last played in November 2024 before being suspended after testing positive for banned substance meldonium, but was cleared by the FA last week. Mudryk has joined Chelsea's squad in Hong Kong for a friendly against Juventus and has been selected to potentially feature, though Alonso noted 90 minutes may be too soon.
