Multiple Olympic and world champion cyclist Katie Archibald retires to become nurse
Scottish track cyclist Katie Archibald, 32, has announced her immediate retirement from competitive cycling. The endurance specialist won Olympic gold medals at both the Rio and Tokyo Games, as well as multiple world, European, and Commonwealth titles. Her retirement means she will miss July's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, and she plans to pursue a career in nursing.
