‘My choice’ – Lewis Hamilton holds hands up after Singapore GP setback

Lewis Hamilton admitted responsibility for a failed SQ3 strategy at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix Sprint qualifying, which he personally pushed for. The seven-time world champion could only manage P6 on the Sprint grid at Marina Bay after opting to delay his entry into the final qualifying segment as soft tyres came into play. Teammate Charles Leclerc qualified in P3 but acknowledged Ferrari is still lacking raw pace.
