Mykhailo Mudryk is banned for FOUR YEARS for doping: Chelsea's £88m star to appeal to CAS after huge punishment from the FA over use of Maria Sharapova's 'Soviet super-soldiers' drug

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, signed for £88 million, has been handed a four-year ban from football by the FA after testing positive for a banned substance associated with the drug meldonium, famously used by Maria Sharapova. Mudryk has announced he will appeal the punishment to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). The ban represents one of the most significant doping sanctions in recent English football history.
