NBA finals: Knicks within two wins of elusive title after holding off Spurs in Game 2
The New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 105-104 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Friday night, taking a commanding 2-0 series lead. Jalen Brunson sank the decisive free throw with 7.5 seconds remaining after a Victor Wembanyama turnover, while Wembanyama's buzzer attempt rimmed out. The Knicks, chasing their first NBA championship in over 50 years, became only the third team to win the first two games of an NBA Finals on the road, joining the 1993 Chicago Bulls and 1995 Houston Rockets.
