NBA free agency: Suns C Mark Williams agrees to 3-year, $38 million deal to stay in Phoenix
Phoenix Suns center Mark Williams, a restricted free agent, has agreed to a three-year, $38 million contract to remain in Phoenix, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. Williams, originally drafted 15th overall by the Charlotte Hornets, joined the Suns last offseason via a draft night trade and became a starting center before missing much of March with a foot fracture. The Suns reached the playoffs through the play-in tournament but were swept in the first round by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
