With less than one week until the 2026 NBA Draft, analyst Kevin O'Connor has released his Mock Draft 9.0, a full two-round projection published on June 17, 2026. According to reporter Shams Charania, both top prospects AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson believe they will be selected with the first overall pick. Dybantsa worked out for both Washington and Utah, while Peterson worked out exclusively for Washington multiple times, though O'Connor still projects Dybantsa as the number one pick.
