NCAA reveals new 76-team bracket for DI Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships

The NCAA has announced that the Division I Men's and Women's Basketball Championships will expand from 68 to 76 teams starting in 2027. The expansion is accompanied by a revised broadcast agreement that will generate over $131 million in new revenue distributions to member schools, with the rights agreement increasing by an average of $50 million per year over six years. New sponsorship categories, including beer, wine, and spirits, will also be opened under the NCAA Corporate Champions and Partners Program.
