Netherlands hire Xavi as coach through 2030 WC

The Netherlands have appointed Xavi Hernández, 46, as their new national team coach after Ronald Koeman resigned following a disappointing FIFA World Cup. Xavi, who was last in management at Barcelona before his dismissal in 2024, has signed a four-year contract with the Dutch side. He will oversee the Netherlands through the 2028 European Championships and the 2030 World Cup.
