New WXV Global Series era starts here

World Rugby is launching the WXV Global Series presented by Mitsubishi Electric, a new home-and-away competition featuring the 12 top-ranked women's rugby nations running from September 12 to October 31. World champions England will open the series hosting Australia in Sale, while other opening weekend fixtures include Scotland vs Canada in Edinburgh and France vs New Zealand in Lyon across 10 match days. The series builds toward the Women's Rugby World Cup 2029, with highlights including back-to-back England vs Canada clashes and the first competitive South Africa vs Ireland meetings since 2006.
