New York Islanders Unveil Eight Finalists in First-Ever NHL Fan-Driven Third Jersey Design Contest

The New York Islanders have unveiled eight finalist designs for their new third jersey in the first-ever fan-driven design contest in NHL history, following a record 80,490 submissions from fans. A team committee including players and Hockey Operations narrowed the entries to eight concepts, which will now go through a bracket-style fan vote running from August 12–20, 2026. The winning design will debut as the team's official third jersey during the 2027–28 season.
