Newman and Rowland lead Dorset runners at London Marathon

Bournemouth AC's David Newman and Louisa Rowland were the leading Dorset club runners at the TCS London Marathon. Newman finished 157th among male mass-start runners with a time of 2:28:51, ahead of Jack Galloway (2:29:17) and Lewis Clarke (2:29:30), while his club-mate Rob McTaggart was 13th in the over-40 category in 2:29:38. Rowland placed 141st among women in 2:55:46, with Poole AC's Becky Neal close behind in 2:58:22.
