News - POLISH ICON ZMARZLIK REVELLING IN SGP TITLE RACE AFTER RIGA WIN

Polish racer Bartosz Zmarzlik won the DEWALT FIM Speedway GP of Latvia in Riga, claiming his record-extending 31st Speedway GP victory and recapturing the World Championship lead with 129 points. Robert Lambert of Great Britain finished second and Australia's Brady Kurtz third, leaving just 10 points separating the top three in the standings. With two rounds remaining — in Vojens on September 12 and Torun on September 26 — Zmarzlik is chasing a historic seventh world title.
