NFL Network: Cardinals, QB Jacoby Brissett agree to reworked $15.5 million deal for 2026 season
Quarterback Jacoby Brissett, 33, has agreed to a reworked deal with the Arizona Cardinals that increases his 2026 compensation to $15.5 million, with a maximum value of $21 million, up from his previously slated $4.88 million base salary. The agreement is not an extension, meaning Brissett will still become a free agent after the 2026 season. Rookie head coach Mike LaFleur confirmed Brissett will work with the starters beginning Tuesday and is on track to open the season as the starter, following a 2025 campaign in which he threw a career-high 3,366 yards and 23 touchdowns in 14 games.
