NFL’s Tom Brady Rules Are Back and Now Apply to Troy Aikman, Too

The NFL is maintaining team-access restrictions for Tom Brady and extending similar rules to Troy Aikman for the first time ahead of the 2026 season. The restrictions stem from Brady's role as a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders while serving as Fox's lead NFL analyst, and Aikman's dual position as a Miami Dolphins consultant and ESPN's Monday Night Football analyst. NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy noted there have been no issues with Brady over the past two seasons under the existing rules.
