NHL arbitration cases all settled early: What each player received
All 15 NHL players who filed for salary arbitration settled their cases before any hearings took place, with the final two deals completed on Friday, July 24, 2026. Columbus Blue Jackets forward Cole Sillinger agreed to a three-year contract averaging $4.625 million per year, while Florida Panthers goalie Akira Schmid signed a two-year deal averaging $2 million annually. Blue Jackets goalie Jet Greaves was the only player whose case came close to a hearing, ultimately signing a three-year, $15 million contract.
