NHL Status Report: Hall injury 'doesn't look good' for Hurricanes

Carolina Hurricanes forward Taylor Hall sustained an upper-body injury during a 4-1 win against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday, leaving in the second period, with coach Rod Brind'Amour saying it 'doesn't look good.' The Hurricanes are already without captain Jordan Staal for 1-2 months due to a calf tear, and recalled forward Bradly Nadeau from the AHL on Wednesday. Additionally, Dallas Stars forward Wyatt Johnston was ruled out against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday due to illness, having been a late scratch in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Colorado.
