NHL Tonight: Stats, betting info and storylines for Saturday's 13-game slate

Saturday's NHL slate features 13 games, including the Ottawa Senators' season opener. Through early-season play, notable highlights have included a goalie goal by Igor Shesterkin, the Oilers and Canucks combining for 27 goals across two matchups, and six goaltenders recording shutouts. One storyline to watch is the Blackhawks-Sabres matchup, stemming from an offseason trade involving Bowen Byram and the No. 4 draft pick, though Byram will miss Saturday's game due to a family matter.
