NHL unveils new centralized production for club regional broadcasts
The NHL announced on July 21, 2026, that it will expand its NHL Productions division to offer centralized production services for club local broadcasts starting with the 2026-27 regular season. The Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, and St. Louis Blues are the initial four clubs to receive these services, which include studio programming, premium game production, advanced graphics, and technical support. The league will also provide strategic support for distribution and monetization of regional game broadcasts, with the possibility of additional clubs joining before the season begins.
