Noah Lyles to compete in 2026 Lausanne Diamond League

Reigning 100m Olympic champion Noah Lyles will compete in the 2026 Athletissima Diamond League in Lausanne on 21 August, racing in his favoured 200m event. The American recently won his third national championship at the 2026 USATF Outdoor Track and Field Championships, clocking a world-leading 9.79 seconds to equal his personal best set when he won Olympic gold in Paris 2024. Lyles has been predominantly focused on the 100m this season, posting times of 9.95s in Tokyo and 9.88s in Italy, while his season-opening 200m was 19.98 seconds in April.
