Noah Lyles won the 100m at the US Athletics Championships in New York City's Icahn Stadium, running a world-leading 9.79 seconds. The time equalled his personal best, which he originally set when winning gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics. His run bettered the previous 2026 world-leading mark of 9.82 seconds, set by Jamaica's Oblique Seville in June.
