Norrie beaten by Shapovalov in Los Cabos semi-final

Cameron Norrie's run at the Los Cabos Open in Mexico ended in a three-set semi-final defeat to defending champion Denis Shapovalov, with the score 6-3 5-7 6-4. Norrie, the British number two who won the tournament in 2021, had been in good form after previously losing six consecutive matches. Shapovalov, a fellow left-hander, broke Norrie in his first service game to take control of the match.
