Norris admits Sprint mistake, ‘should never have attempted’ move on Piastri - RACER

Lando Norris has admitted he made a mistake by attempting to overtake McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri on the final lap of the Singapore Grand Prix Sprint, resulting in a collision that eliminated both drivers from fourth and fifth place. After overnight talks with the team, Norris apologized and reversed his initial stance that the move was justified, stating he should have prioritized the team over personal ambition. The pair recovered to finish fourth and fifth in Sunday's main grand prix, with Norris ahead of Piastri.
