North Wales Crusaders secure RFL future

North Wales Crusaders have secured a place in the Rugby Football League Championship for the 2027 season, despite having initially withdrawn their bid for a licence. The club's future in the RFL structure is now confirmed following a reversal of their earlier decision. A previous incarnation of the Crusaders had competed in Super League between 2009 and 2011.
