Northern Ireland Walking Football Teams Celebrate Double Success at Limerick Festival

Northern Ireland's walking football squads had an outstanding weekend at the Limerick Festival of Walking Football, held at the University of Limerick in July, remaining unbeaten across 12 matches and conceding just two goals. The Over 70s retained their title, winning group matches against Anglia and Dublin before defeating Leinster in a penalty shootout following a 0-0 final draw. The Over 65s also won their age category at the first attempt, including a 5-0 group stage victory, before also beating Leinster on penalties in a goalless final.
