Novak Djokovic: Former world No 1 wins China Open title without needing a match point in semi-final and final

Novak Djokovic won his seventh China Open title in Beijing, claiming his 102nd career title without needing a match point in either the semi-final or final. In the semi-final, opponent Daniil Medvedev was disqualified after hitting a spectator with the ball, while in the final, Alex De Minaur retired injured after the first set with a heavily bandaged left thigh. The unusual circumstances meant Djokovic secured the title without completing either of his final two matches.
